Harrisonburg has a ton of cute and local restauraunts. Plus there is the Farmers Market every Tuesday and Saturday morning to get fresh veggies and support local vendors.
One of my favorite local coffee shops is Greenberry’s. They have a convienent drive thru, or a nice and cozy indoor setting. They also provide wifi, so you are able to complete work while enjoying the quiet. Plus, you’re surrounded by the smell of coffee. Who doesn’t love that?
Head downtown and stop into Clementines for a delicious meal after your coffee. They offer things that you can’t get anywhere else. Plus, they have a nice atmosphere. In the evening they host bands for live music, and late at night you can head downstairs to the bar and dance the night away. This was one of my favorite places to visit while I was in school because it was close to where I lived.
If you decide not to go out for the night, head over to Klines for some delicious ice cream. They have cones and milkshakes, plus a new flavor every week that they make in house. During the summer, if you are up for a drive, go to New Market, VA and find Packs Frozen Custard. I promise you will not be disappointed.
What is your favorite local restaurant? Let me know in the comments, I look forward to hearing them!
